I had sensed the way Malinga had been taken for runs that the wicket was a batsman’s paradise only slow bowlers could do something to contain or buy wickets.. Raina was a good contributor.. even in the Compaq cup winning my question to MSD.. what does Pravee Kumar do more to find a place in the playing XI..Congratulations to Padmshree Harbhajan Singh for coming up trumps at the crucial times.. if the wickets which he took were not taken India could have lost despite having 320 plus on the board.. he was ably supported by Yuvraj and Raina in the spin bowling department..
Yet the special salutation goes to the master blaster the Black (Oriental) Bradman - the one and only one Sachin Tendulakr.. I would not deny that he has proved me wrong.. I had been advocating that he has played enough of cricket he should take some rest.. not any more.. he could give good competition to Viru and Gauti of the Delhi for the openers slot.. it is very heartening to see him perform like a champion even at this age.. the physical makeup does get a faster wear and tear in sports with age than in Cinema.. that he has no chance of a retake to improve his shot.. he is a great performer by any standards.. best of luck for champions trophy and the champions league..
हिंदी दिवस होने के नाते मै भारतीय टीम को विजय के इस अवसर पर अपनी बधाई हिदी में भी देना चाहूंगा, आज जिस प्रकार के खेल का प्रदर्शन सभी खिलाड़ियों ने किया वह अत्यंत ही सराहनीय था, आप सब प्रशंसा के पात्र है आशा है आने वाले दिनों में भी आप सब एकजुट होकर खेलेंगे तथा कुछ रोमांचक मैच हमें देखने को मिल सकेंगें । यहां यह बताना यथोचित होगा कि खेल में एक की जीत तथा दूसरे की हार तो लगभग सुनिश्चित होती है तथापि सही खेल भावना के साथ किया गया प्रदर्शन हार-जीत के फैसले से बढ़कर है । आज टीम ने कुल मिलाकर अच्छा प्रदर्शन किया अगर संयोगवश हार भी जाते तो अभय शर्मा का दिल दुखी नही होता जैसा कि विश्व कप 2007 में या हाल ही में टी20 चैम्पियन्शिप में कभी हुआ था । धोनी भैया तुमसे मुझे कोई बैर थोड़े ही है, पर हां, सहवाग तथा प्रवीण कुमार प्रतिभाशाली खिलाड़ी है अकारण उन्हे अवसर नही देना कुछ ठीक नही लगता, वैसे अब मै कह सकता हूं कि तुम्हारी रणनीति कारगर है , टीम का चयन अपने हिसाब से ही करो, मै क्या जानूं कि किस में कितना है दम । सभी लड़कों को एक बार फिर हमारी तरफ़ से अनेकों बधाई ।अभय शर्मा
